Berkeley Mills is a design and build studio based in Berkeley, California, creating furniture, kitchens, and architectural millwork entirely in-house. We are now operating as a newly formed LLC, with founder Gene Agress back at the helm and a team of master craftspeople continuing the work.
The name is the same. The standards are the same.

We see ourselves as stewards of the material we use. Our responsibility is to turn it into something worthy of the time it took to grow.
A tree can take 100 years to mature. So we make furniture that lasts longer than that. Not just decades. Centuries. Because to do otherwise feels like taking something from the future.
