Kitchen Hardware and Lighting
Kitchen Hardware and Lighting are essential parts of a complete Berkeley Mills Kitchen design. For every kitchen we build, we consider hundreds of hardware solutions and put in many hours of design and engineering to ensure the hardware works just right.
Our hardware of choice is Blum, which features well-built mechanisms, standard Inox metal sided drawers, versatile lift door hardware and integrated soft-close hinges.
1 – Lift Door Hardware: Lift, Flap, Bifold, up and over, touch drive.
The variety of lift door hardware options allows us to implement the ideal solution
based on design and usability.
2 – Door: Integrated Soft Close Hinges
This strong and efficient hinge has a built-in soft close mechanism that makes every
door close softly.
3 – Kitchen Drawer Hardware
The Blum Metal Tandembox and the Blum Tandem under-mount slides with adjustable
soft closing mechanism for drawers are smooth, strong and silent.
4 – Pantry Cabinets’ Hardware
The same strong and efficient hardware is used consistently for pull-outs or pantry
shelving to maximize space without compromising our look.
5 – Task Lighting
We offer a variety of lighting solutions for kitchens: warm halogen lights that
can be used as task and accent lighting and top of the line warm white LED energy
efficient lighting which comes in continuous attachments, avoiding gaps in the light.
6 – Accent lighting
Accent lighting can improve the overall room lighting scheme or just add flare
and contrast to the cabinetry. Accent lights can be used behind glass doors and
add brightness to the dark cabinet boxes or hidden and recessed around specific
locations in the kitchen to add light and shadow forms.
